FAQ & Answers

I’ve never studied Russian or Kazakh before. Can I join?

Absolutely! This is an A0→A1 course designed specifically for complete beginners. You’ll start with the alphabet on Day 1. No prior knowledge required — just motivation to learn.

What if I miss a class?

You can attend a makeup session in another time slot (subject to availability), plus you’ll have access to our video library with recorded lessons. We also provide class notes through our WhatsApp group.

How do I know which language to learn first — Russian or Kazakh?

Russian is more widely spoken in Almaty and will help you in daily situations immediately. Kazakh shows deeper cultural commitment and is increasingly important professionally. We recommend Russian for immediate practicality, but we’re happy to discuss your specific situation during a free consultation.

What’s included in the course price?

Everything you need: all learning materials, access to our video library, WhatsApp group support, practice worksheets, and a certificate of completion. Just bring a notebook and pen.

Can I switch between time slots if my schedule changes?

Yes, if there’s availability in another group. We understand expat schedules can be unpredictable. Just let us know at least 24 hours in advance.

What’s your refund policy?

Full refund if you withdraw within the first week, no questions asked. Starting Week 2, no refunds, but you can transfer your spot to the next
10-week program or use the credits for other services.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes. You can pay in 2 payment installments. We accept all Kazakh banks, PayPal, and international cards.

How many students are in each class?

Minimum 4, maximum 7 students per group. Small class sizes mean you get personalized attention and plenty of speaking practice — not lost in a crowd of 20+ students.

What happens after I complete the A0→A1 course?

You’ll be ready for A1→A2 level. We offer continuing courses, or you can practice independently using the foundation we’ve built.

I’m shy about speaking in front of others. Will I be forced to participate?

We create a supportive, judgment-free environment. Everyone starts at zero, so there’s no pressure. Our small groups mean you’ll get comfortable quickly. You’ll speak at your own pace — but yes, speaking practice is essential for progress.

Do you offer corporate/group discounts?

Yes! If your company wants to enroll 3+ employees, contact us for corporate rates. We also offer customized schedules for team bookings.

Are classes in English or Russian/Kazakh?

Our teachers are fluent in English and use it to explain grammar concepts, especially in the first few weeks. As you progress, we gradually increase Russian/Kazakh immersion. Best of both worlds.
